Our growing company is actively seeking experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing company. In this highly specialized role, you will repair, modify, and inspect aircraft structures, systems, and ensure airworthiness. As a member of our Maintenance team your ensure that all maintenance activities are controlled on aircraft and that the correct technical records are originated and retained with respect to all inspections and maintenance functions. This position entails knowledge of jet aircraft and the maintenance applications associated with them.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will also be responsible for:

  • Visually inspecting, assessing, and assisting in repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, systems, and equipment.

  • Removing, installing, and functionally testing aircraft components.

  • Dismantling and assembling aircraft systems for repair and overhaul.

  • Removing aircraft control systems including checking rigging and re-assembling.

  • Diagnostically troubleshooting aircraft defects and carrying out corrective action.

  • Completing records of work done to sustain an accurate record system.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints and written technical instructions.

  • Operating in confined spaces and elevated heights when required.

  • Working in compliance with all Administrative, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance policies and procedures as outlined in Company policies.

  • Excellent planning, organization, coordination skills, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail will be a plus.

To perform successfully as a Maintenance Technician, we are looking for the following:

  • Vocational school, technical training and/or equivalent.

  • Airframe and Powerplant License strongly preferred.

  • 1 to 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience required. Sensible understanding of general job aspects required.

The work environment for a Maintenance Technician, may include but is not limited to the following:

  • Regular periods during which physical effort is required, e.g., walking standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

  • Exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, and materials which can cause periods of discomfort.

  • Frequent need to give concentrated attention, with one or two senses at a time, where stimuli are changing.

  • Occasional direct and indirect pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.
