The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as directed, and for the interior and exterior daily cleaning and trash removal. This position will perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns, diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry wall, appliances etc., and ensure that work orders are responded to professionally and promptly.

Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and work with outside contractors as needed. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote a quality living experience for all.

Requirements for this position include a minimum of one year of apartment maintenance or similar experience, a current driver's license and proof of automobile insurance. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, good verbal and written communication skills, a polite and professional approach and excellent customer service skills. Position requires some weekend, evenings and holiday work.

Summary * Under general supervision, performs general maintenance work with moderate latitude for exercising individual knowledge and technical skill.
