Description

Trinidad Benham Corp., a national leader in the consumer food products industry, is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician for our LaVergne, TN facility. This position will support all production/facility equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on all equipment and maintain the facility to be in excellent condition. The successful candidate must have a strong electrical background.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Maintenance Technicians perform maintenance on our equipment and facilities. They make sure our facilities run smoothly by following our preventative maintenance schedule, troubleshooting electrical/mechanical issues, keeping parts stocked, and responding quickly to repair requests. Maintenance technicians must be safety-minded, have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and be able to prioritize work assignments.

• Perform electrical, systematic and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on complex packaging equipment, bulk unloading equipment and printing equipment.

• Perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of 480V 3 phase electrical control circuits, 277 volt single phase, 208 volt 3 phase supply voltage, 110 volt ac, 24 volt ac/dc machine control wiring, wiring motor starter, breakers, relays, switches, motor control circuits, device control circuits and PLC control systems.

• Running EMT and flexible liquid tight conduit.

• Machinery and equipment installation to include ability to read blue prints, electrical schematics, welding and sheet metal fabrication a plus.

• Perform preventative maintenance as required on all systems and equipment.

• Maintain records to ensure accountability of time, parts and repairs to meet regulatory compliance.

WHAT WE NEED

MUST-HAVES:

High school diploma or GED

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred

NICE-TO-HAVES:

Formal industrial maintenance training

Maintenance experience in food manufacturing
