This position will be responsible for but are not limited to machine installation, control wiring installations and troubleshooting to the component level, PLC understanding and troubleshooting skills, anchoring equipment, running conduit, pulling wire, termination of conductors, maintenance and rebuilding of equipment, and other routine maintenance duties.
5 years' experience in building and equipment maintenance with an emphasis on electrical installation and troubleshooting
High school diploma, technical skills from similar job experience required. Courses from trade school in basic electrical, motor controls, relay logic, plumbing, and blue print reading preferred.
Understanding of PLC
Must be able to use basic electrical test instruments to include VOM multi-meter, clamp on ampere meter, and other basic test instruments
Mechanical skills related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various campus electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated conveyor equipment is preferred
Must be able to lift 50lbs routinely throughout the work shift
Successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening
