Oregano's Pizza Bistro is seeking an experience Maintenance Technician in Tucson, AZ. In this role you will perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various locations in Tucson.

Maintenance Technician Duties:

• Providing technical and facilities support for the restaurants.

• Performing building repair, maintenance and troubleshooting problems with kitchen equipment such as ice machines, cooking equipment, refrigerated prep tables, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, etc.

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as, windows, doors, wall repair, touch-up painting, etc.

• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.

• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly.

• Perform preventative measures to HVAC and refrigeration to reduce the risk of future problems.

• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Certified in HVAC and refrigeration..

• Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building.

• Interpersonal skills to interact with managers and team members in a pleasant manner.

• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.

• Must successfully pass background check (credit, driving, and criminal).

• Must have a valid drivers license (issued by the working state) and have use of a properly maintained, license, and street legal vehicle.

• Must be computer literate; be informed regarding Windows and Microsoft Office based management reporting.

• Proficiency communicating (speaking, reading, and writing) in English.

• Must be able to handle the pressure appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry up to 50 pounds for distances of up to 50 feet.
