Enterprise Holdings has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. At the Sacramento Airport, we have a complete Service Center facility, where we complete routine service and maintenance on a variety of our rental vehicles. The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for oil changes, tire rotations and replacements, and the overall safety of our rental fleet. This is a great opportunity to begin your career in the automotive repair industry!

The current opening we have is starting at $16.00/hour and has a guarantee of 2 days off together during the week. Weekends are required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standardsincluding oil changes, tire replacement and tire rotation.

  • Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.

  • Responsible for safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.

  • Perform in-fleet servicing on new cars according to company procedures as required.

  • Maintain safe and clean work area.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

  • Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English

  • Apart from religious observation, must be able to work the following schedule: Thursday - Monday 2:30pm-11:00pm

Air Products, manufacturer of industrial gases, is seeking a high energy, self-starter to fill a full time Maintenance Technician position with on call responsibilities. This hourly position primarily supports our Hydrogen plant in Sacramento, California. The primary purpose of this job is to perform all maintenance tasks necessary to ensure proper facility operations. Executing all tasks with safety, reliability and efficiency in mind. The Technicians' responsibilities include: Perform and/or supervise the inspection, repairs & installation for the following: Plant instrumentation, including process controls, safety protection circuits, analyzers, DCS system, field instrumentation. Electrical equipment including motors, control circuits, motor control power distribution panels from 120vac – 480vac. Mechanical inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on compressors, pumps, fans and general mechanical equipment. Inspection and repair of piping systems including, knowledge of piping classifications, valves, relief devices, pressure regulators and pneumatic and solenoid operated control valves. This job also includes executing and documenting all plant assigned PM tasks, maintaining spare parts inventory and processing Maintenance orders in SAP. Qualifications / Requirements: * High school diploma/equivalent * Minimum five years of experience with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation * Supervisory skills/experience a plus- Basic computer skills * SAP knowledge is desired * Ability to work in an industrial environment that includes climbing ladders and stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights and in confined spaces * Ability to work extended hours on short notice * Ability to work in a team environment, with safety first as a primary focus * Ability to communicate effectively across technical, operations and maintenance lines This is a ladder position and advancement is possible based on experience and demonstrated competency.
