We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician. Our technicians apply methods, best practices, and procedures in preventative maintenance, inspection, diagnostics and repair, of buildings, utilities, equipment and machinery.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES
Install, modify, maintain and repair all production equipment and machinery, forklifts, power tools and other LMI equipment.
Perform building and facility maintenance, repairs and improvements. This includes plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on facilities and equipment.
Complete required paperwork and documentation.
Operate forklift trucks as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES
High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
HVAC License, Electrical Journeyman license, Boiler operator license preferred.
Knowledge of production machines and equipment and the mechanical ability needed to complete repairs.
Knowledge and ability to perform electrical, plumbing and other facility repairs.
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of HVAC Systems.
Ability to operate a forklift truck.
Ability to diagnose problems, find solutions and implement all measures to prevent reoccurrence.
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
Must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
