Building Maintenance Technician needed for a mixed use development near downtown. The site includes restaurants, retail space, a specialty school, office space, a hotel and park areas.
The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain the physical condition of assigned properties through the performance of day-to-day maintenance activities as directed by the Chief Building Engineer.
Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned and complete assigned maintenance service requests.
Perform routine property inspections; identify maintenance deficiencies and make repairs.
Timely completion of preventive and scheduled routine maintenance tasks in accordance with the property maintenance plan.
Create, monitor and update work orders via the electronic work order system.
Maintain and control necessary inventory in order to complete repairs efficiently and promptly.
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
Maintain a high level of professionalism & courtesy with tenants, vendors & fellow employees.
Be responsive and reliable to tenants, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Minimum of 3 years related experience.
Working knowledge and experience with Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Chillers, Reading Building Plans, Pumps, Generators, Boilers, etc.
Must be available to work either Monday
Friday w/ Rotating weekends OR Thursday
