Maintenance Technician Level 3

Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician Level 3 to join our team supporting our Hudson Valley sites. Position's home base will be Wappingers Falls, NY.

Assists management from all sites in a variety of tasks related to facility maintenance. This may include moving furniture, equipment and supplies and other custodial duties to maintain the health center sites and surrounding properties in an orderly and sanitary condition. Position requires replacement of light fixtures, plumbing repairs, carpentry as needed. Must be able to work independently and take responsibility for assigned work from start to completion

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician Level 3:

• Performs maintenance tasks related to basic lighting, plumbing and structure of the sites

• Performs basic carpentry

• Assembles and installs cabinets

• Moves furniture or equipment and supplies around health center as directed

• Replaces lighting fixtures. Helps make minor repairs around clinic area

• Maintains the outside areas of Sun River Health sites as needed including sidewalks and parking lots, keeping them free of refuse and leaves & snow

• Coverage of after hours emergencies

• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and rough carpentry

• Ability to read blueprints and floor plans

Minimum Education Requirement: High school diploma/ GED

Minimum Work-Related Experience: 2-4 years

Valid Drivers License

Must be willing to undergo drivers license check

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
