Maintenance Technician Level 2

Sun River Health is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician Level I to join our team supporting our Suffolk County sites. Under general supervision uses limited experience and judgement to perform a variety of building, custodial and maintenance duties; operate hand and power tools, across all Sun River Health. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician Level I:

Performs maintenance tasks related to basic lighting, plumbing and structure of the sites. Moves furniture or equipment and supplies around health center as directed. Maintains the outside areas of HRHC sites as needed including sidewalks and parking lots such as snow removal, etc.

Coverage of after-hours emergencies Perform basic rough carpentry and plumbing functions. Operate gas-powered equipment. Basic knowledge of mechanical layouts (HVAC, plumbing) within HRHC sites.

Knowledge of building and NYS code compliance. Minimum Education Requirement: High school diploma/ GED Minimum Work-Related Experience: 2-4 years Valid Drivers License Must be willing to undergo a drivers license check Job Type: Full-time Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
