The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field. You will work as part of an engineering team of 3 at JLL managed commercial campus in Malvern, PA.

Location: Malvern, PA 19355

Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a rotating on-call schedule for after-hour emergencies

Reporting to: Facility Manager

Type of Employment: Full-Time w/JLL employee benefits within 1 month of employment

Additional Perks: overtime pay and on-call pay, company uniforms, cell phone, & laptop

Estimated compensation: $23.32 to $28.56 hourly paid bi-weekly

The compensation range listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A job offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Maintain lighting system bulbs and ballasts

• Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment

• General interior maintenance

• Minor plumbing repairs

• Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.

• This position requires the employee to be on call for after-hours emergencies.

• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.

• Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.

• Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.

• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

• Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.

Required experience and technical skills

• High School diploma or GED equivalent; Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable

• Minimum of 1-3+ years of relevant work experience; general building repair & maintenance in the commercial industry

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license

• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)

• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall

• Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or drive

• Strong customer service skills
