For more information, please visit www.resilience.com Position Summary & Role Under the supervision of the Manager of Utilities and Facilities Maintenance, the Facilities Maintenance Technician III will utilize strong knowledge of multi-craft maintenance including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing to maintain, operate and support the facility. All duties must be performed in compliance with established company, department, and safety policies and procedures within GMP-regulated and non-GMP facilities.
The incumbent will execute daily work assignments and ensure the timely completion of all scheduled and unscheduled events for manufacturing and infrastructure equipment and systems. Job Responsibilities Assists the Manager of Utilities and Facilities Maintenance with the development of maintenance plans and job aids for new and existing equipment (i.e. plant utilities and manufacturing) and buildings in a cGMP environment. Operate and maintain plant utility systems adhering to established procedures to ensure compliance with applicable CFRs.
Serve as the subject matter expert and owner of plant utilities, HVAC, and building support equipment. Expected to provide On-Call support and work off shift when required to support ongoing manufacturing operations. Support the management of site electrical infrastructure, emergency generation, and distribution.
Lead facility maintenance and repair activities as required to keep the facility in a qualified state. Ensuring that all maintenance activities are documented and traceable in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and company requirements. Providing oversight to junior facilities staff.
Assist the Manager of Utilities and Facilities Maintenance with scheduling and planning of maintenance activities on new and existing equipment and buildings. Liaising with all departments concerning maintenance matters. Evaluate third-party service providers e.g. specialist contractors, such as gas engineers and refrigeration engineers, and parts.
Supervise, escort, and provide oversight to suppliers/contractors who are on-site, to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with the contract, regulatory requirements, and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Review and implement relevant maintenance SOPs and policies. Participate in performing risk assessments for all facilities activities and reviewing/amending annually. Providing 'hands-on' technical support to production and other core disciplines, as required, during process development and when executing validation activities.
Support regulatory and customer audits. Minimum Qualifications Experience using CMMS, BMS, SCADA or other computerized systems Ability to frequently bend, lift, and carry materials and equipment throughout the day. Proficiency in several of the following is required:
Utility systems (Water systems, WFI, Waste Neutralization Systems, air compressors, process gasses) Plant Steam systems Industrial plant electrical infrastructure including diesel emergency generators, UPS power systems, and transfer gear HVAC, air conditioning and plumbing Autoclaves and Parts Washers Preferred Qualifications High School diploma, Associate's degree in a technical discipline, or Certification/experience in an applicable trade preferred; i.e electrical, HVAC, Plumbing Previous GMP experience with Single-Use Technologies or Isolators, Fillers, Packaging/Labeling Equipment Knowledge and understanding of general industry practices and standards. Highly customer-focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment with analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proactive with initiative, self-motivated and forward-thinking with drive and determination. Self-starter with a 'can do' attitude. Excellent team player with the ability to work to prescriptive standards.

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $26.00 - $40.50 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
