Now hiring Maintenance Technician III Wyandotte, MI / Straight day shift / Paid overtime We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our PM team in Wyandotte. As part of our Maintenance organization, you will support our Engineering Plastics Compounding plant (EPC) During your straight day shift as a Maintenance Technician III, you will Install, maintain and repair equipment such as pumps, blowers, gearboxes, extruders, convey systems and Piping Improve equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting and utilizing all resources available. Findings reported to supervision with appropriate recommendations.

Support and improve Preventive Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity Programs to insure equipment reliability. Actively participate in plant safety meetings, and work within BASF site and corporate procedures. Support all EHS policies and procedures while promoting a safe working environment.

Track and update assigned tasks in our maintenance management system (SAP). Maintain good attendance history. Provide rotating on-call support for after-hours production demands to include working overtime and weekends when needed. If you Possess a High School Diploma or GED. (Associate Degree in a Mechanical Program would be preferred). Have 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Have 5 year of experience performance maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, rotors, gearboxes. Are experienced with MS Office and SAP Plant Maintenance or are willing to learn both. Have 5 years of experience working in a compounding environment, this would be an asset.
