Overview

Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgement is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on more specialized Dairy, facility, lab equipment and critical utilities in support of operations.

Assure timely completion of maintenance activities in accordance with SOP's and scheduled preventive maintenance programs, incorporate and/or recommend changes to existing systems, prepare parts requisitions as required and maintain appropriate inventory of spare parts. Help develop maintenance SOP's for equipment. Site maintenance to include but not limited to vehicle wash down and maintenance, HVAC maintenance, fence repair and maintenance, snow removal and grounds maintenance, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

Takes initiative to solve problems/suggest or work through improvements and upgrades. Prioritizes tasks and assignments jointly with facilities supervisor.

Identify priorities but may need supervisor input with workload. Proactive in responding to customer and system needs without supervisor direction. Ability to learn and work with computerized systems, ALC - BMS/EMS, Siemens system BMS, Blue Mountain Asset management system.

Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and make redline changes to drawings. Ability to independently perform preventive maintenance to HVAC systems, generators, and other equipment and utilities. Basic trade skills such as Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrical.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated computer proficiency in word, excel, outlook.

A Minimum of 4 years' experience with facilities maintenance, with a background in HVAC, Plumbing, Boilers, water and/or waste treatment. Additional experience in farm maintenance a plus. Ability to work with a scheduled maintenance program.

Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings. Specialized technical schooling, formal apprenticeship or on the job training beyond high school preferred. Previous background in pharmaceutical production, GLP or GMP regulated environment requiring documentation is desired.

VIEW JOBS 3/8/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-06T00:00 Overview Primary function is the daily care and maintenance of the LFB USA rabbit colony used to produce pharmaceutical products. Duties include basic animal husbandry, facility sanitization, animal restraint, feeding, milking, and record keeping. Tasks must be carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) and accurately documented to maintain compliance with FDA mandated Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities * Daily animal care activities to include: feeding, animal observations/identification of clinical concerns, and nail trimming * Husbandry activities to include cage change/cleaning, use of power wash and chemical dispensing equipment, and general facility sanitization and support * May perform milking of rabbits and provide support as needed to meet production goals and adherence to established schedules * Proper basic restraint of rabbits to facilitate general animal care, transfers, and sample collection * Technical skills to include IP injections. May include IM, IV and SC injections. * May perform animal identification applications to include ear tags, tattoos and RFID transponders * May provide support for natural and artificial insemination breeding procedures (to include restraint), and kindling/weaning procedures * Utilize computer and paper based systems to accurately document and/or record information to assure compliance with applicable regulations, and company policies * May provide veterinary care and animal treatments as assigned * Identify safety issues and initiate corrective actions to reach resolution * Identify and communicate animal welfare concerns * Exhibit a sound understanding of applicable animal care and use guidelines * Weekend and holiday coverage required on a rotating basis Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required, 0-3yr laboratory animal experience * AS (in related discipline) 0-1yr laboratory animal experience * BS (in related discipline) no previous experience required * AALAS certification at the ALAT level is preferred * Must be able to work in a team-oriented production environment with attentiveness to detail, accuracy and exhibit basic organizational skills * Strong attention to detail and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) * Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions * Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and exhibit good interpersonal skills with team members * Exhibit basic working knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, internet) * Ability to push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 500 pounds * Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds * Duties require long periods of standing and/or sitting for an average of six hours a day * May be exposed to materials and chemicals that are potentially allergenic * Duties require actions that involve repetitive motion, to include that of hands and wrists Revo Biologics, Inc.
