Maintenance Technician II

Luxium Solutions in Milford, NH is hiring for Maintenance Technicians! The Maintenance Technician II maintains and installs equipment, troubleshoots machines, and makes repairs to the facility. Also responsible for other duties as assigned and determined by business needs. Other duties may include snow removal, grounds maintenance, and general building maintenance.

Essential Functions:

• Safely perform machine repair, electrical, HVAC, welding, carpentry, plumbing, and machine operation using OSHA and company standards.
• Assist with the installation of electrical equipment per the National Electrical Code requirements. Use of DMM for voltage and resistance testing.
• Install Plumbing equipment.
• Make repairs or fabricate equipment that may require the use of a stick/mig/tig welder.
• Disassemble and reassemble production machinery and plant equipment to locate and repair defective parts.

Requirements

• Use of Negative pressure or PAPR respirator required.
• On-call availability will be required on a rotating basis.
• Due to the nature of the position, additional PPE outside of the normal standards may be required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical/trade school degree or certificate preferred.
• 3-5 years of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic systems background with experience in industrial equipment maintenance or equivalent demonstrated ability required.
• 3-5 years of general machining skills such as lathes, mills and welding (mig,stick,tig) preferred.
• 1- 3 years background in process cooling water systems preferred.
