Maintenance Technician II

Position Summary: Performs a variety of duties and services that include, but are not limited to, maintenance and repair of equipment, building and grounds.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma, trade or vocational school. Minimum of three (3) years experience in maintenance field.

Ability to perform maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Certified or licensed in Mechanical/Electrical field preferred. Essential Job Functions:

Performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital Conducts routine rounds of the facility and central plant Repairs and maintains plant equipment Performs preventative maintenance of equipment Contributes to the interior and exterior aesthetic appearance of the facility Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all times Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Creativity, problem analysis and decision making Ability to work varied shifts WVMC is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer.
