The Maintenance Technician II role within Real Estate Operations has responsibility for general basic repairs to buildings and equipment to include small carpentry, general maintenance, plumbing, light replacement, and exterior repairs. Occasional general cleaning may be required.

The role will respond to retail branch and back office request work orders and have a routine schedule of work orders throughout Citizens Bank portfolio within an assigned geography area of locations.

Additional responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Responding to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritizing work order response.

  • Completing work order correctly with minimal call backs.

  • Availability to respond to after hours and weekend needs.

  • Inspecting branch facilities on a routine basis and repairing items as required.

  • Referring to vendors if necessary via work order system.

  • Closing out work orders upon completion; via iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System.

  • Assisting with corporate projects as required.

  • Providing minor office relocations of furniture and / or contents.

  • Providing reports in a timely manner for purchase card verification / reconciliation.

  • Purchasing supplies at best price available.

  • Communicating in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers.

  • Maintaining inventory of supplies, tools and materials.

  • Performing all work in a safe manner within Citizens Bank guidelines, codes and standards.

  • Responsibility for maintaining bank vehicle.


Experience and Skills:

  • 3 or more years of experience in facilities/real estate/Building Services engineering

  • 5 or more years of general construction experience

  • General knowledge of building codes and regulations

  • Competent use of MS Office applications to include MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Ability to travel as required

  • Good written/communications skills and experience working in high security areas preferred

Education and Licenses:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Valid Drivers License required

Hours and Work Schedule:

  • Hours Per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Job Title: * Maintenance Technician 1 in Pittsburgh, PA. Position Summary: * Provide maintenance and repairs to production machinery and facility repairs. Key Duties / Responsibilities: * Perform the necessary corrective maintenance to ensure the facility and equipment are operating properly. * Perform all maintenance activities in a safe, clean and efficient manner. * Replace and repair parts, rebuild equipment and align gears, shafts, pulleys and belts. * Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment. * Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory. * Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner. * Respond in a timely manner to all red lights and maintenance requests on the production floor. * Perform preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan. * Record activities using the proper PM checklist sheets. * Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up, machine and equipment clean-up, sweeping production floor after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned. * Perform activities to acquire detailed knowledge of equipment components to diagnose causes of electrical mechanical malfunctions or provide corrective maintenance. * Participate in a maintenance training programs to continuously improve knowledge, skills and abilities. Develop skills in electrical or HVAC fields. * Maintain compliance with changing OSHA regulations. * Learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary job duties. Education & Knowledge: * High school diploma or general education certification preferred. * Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language preferred. * Mechanical or electrical experience. * Technical degree and/or equivalent experience. * Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Experience / Skills / Abilities: * 0 - 1 year of related experience. * Prior electro-mechanical experience. * Proficient in performing production equipment preventive maintenance. * Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions. * Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations. * Computer literate. * Able to identify and perform Level B & C equipment preventative maintenance. Supervisory Responsibility: * None. Communication & Contacts (Internal/External): * Communicate with Plant personnel and leadership. * Communicate with outside vendors, service and maintenance providers.
