Basic Function

Provides exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner. Maintains the physical hotel property and grounds.

Performs necessary repairs and preventive maintenance tasks in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of Company assets in a safe, cost- effective manner. Occasionally responsible for routine custodial duties as required or assigned.

General Knowledge, Skill and Ability

Requires basic knowledge of maintenance skills.

Requires ability to perform Room PMs, minor repairs, pool / spa maintenance, and other basic preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance on property. Performs general minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting and HVAC systems.

Requires ability to receive written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.

Requires ability to keep records of limited difficulty.

Requires ability to be available for emergency repairs.

Requires willingness to learn new skills.

Mental and Physical Requirements

EDUCATION: Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school. Other formal schooling / experience beneficial and is not required.

EXPERIENCE: Previous maintenance experience not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Requires ability to walk and stand during the work shift. Requires ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the work week, but may lift 25 - 35 pounds intermittently during work shift.

Working Relationships

Reports to General Manager or Rooms Manager.

Works closely with Regional Maintenance Manager, Executive Housekeeper / Rooms Manager and Guest Service personnel.

Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.

VIEW JOBS 10/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-20T00:00 Service Fuel Stations that Provide Fleets with America's Clean, Domestically Produced Renewable Fuel This field service role is your opportunity to work as a self-directed Maintenance Mechanic, responsible for the care and maintenance of natural gas fueling stations. You will invest most of your time in supporting four fueling stations (two in the Indianapolis area and one each in Fair Oaks and Muncie IN) and, on occasion, support two sites in Evansville IN. You'll be responsible for completing inspections, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment related issues. This will include completing digital work orders, documenting all work performed and capturing critical data. This will give you the knowledge and confidence to work on and repair our specialized equipment. Salary range depends on experience and includes overtime, company vehicle and competitive benefits.
