Maintenance Technician - Hvac

The Terraces at San Joaquin Gardens, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in Fresno, CA, seeks an individual to join our Maintenance and HVAC technician team. Under limited supervision, the Maintenance Technician/HVAC performs skilled and semi-skilled work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment; performs HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work.

Shift: Full-time 7 AM-3 PM

Pay: $28-$35/hr depending on experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Vocational or Technical Certification, license, or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair HVAC equipment.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience

• Follow written and oral instructions

• To operate, maintain and perform minor repairs to powered maintenance-related equipment, including HVAC

• Performs electrical work such as repairing and replacing switches, receptacles, lights, and motors;

• Performs maintenance, installation and repair of 3-phase motors and electrical installation (breakers, circuits, etc.)

• Performs plumbing installations and/or repairs such as repairing leaks, running new lines and plumbing fixtures, installing water heaters and commodes, repairing pipes, replacing valves, unclogging drains, and installing filters;

• With certification, may perform HVAC duties
