The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance the appearance and functionality of residential and multi-family properties. This includes performing routine inspections, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring all systems are operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Assist in property improvement projects as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their maintenance concerns.
  • Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule for emergency call-outs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance systems.
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
