Job Purpose:
You are a supportive and communicative team member who completes preventative maintenance and basic building repairs. You ensure consistent and quality service delivery.

Schedule: Part time; 20 hours/week.

Pay: $13.00/hour

What you will be doing:

Repair and Maintenance Complete cleaning tasks, basic trouble shooting, repairs, preventative maintenance and pest control.

Presentation Maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness in public areas and work with other departments to ensure common areas are kept organized, clean, and accessible.

Customer Service Provide consistent and timely communication regarding work orders, projects and concerns.

Communication Listen, pay attention and be a responsible steward of information.

Support Maintain acceptable levels of cleanliness in public areas and work with other departments to ensure common areas are kept organized, clean, and accessible. Support organizational wide presentations standards and projects at all locations. Plan and complete work based on the ticketing system and priorities set by the team.

What we are looking for:

Experience Customer service experience preferred.

Physical & Emotional Capabilities Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in an animal shelter environment, including the use of euthanasia. This position requires a high level of mobility and dexterity. The ability to regularly lift 50 lbs. is also required.

Communication

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have ability to work as a member of the team and partner collaboratively with external and internal customers and departments.

Adaptability

  • Ability to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a variety of situations.

Computer Skills Basic working knowledge of MS Office environment.

Schedule

  • Regular, predictable attendance, punctuality and availability to work during operational hours as defined by management with flexibility to work evening, weekend, after hour and on call shifts.

Transportation

  • Valid driver's license required

Your Opportunity: Heinrich Envelope, A Taylor Corporation Company, is seeking an Equipment Operator for our Envelope Folding Machine. The position is responsible for operating folding machines to create envelopes for inventory and customer orders. Your Shift: * 2nd Shift: Monday –Thursday 3:20pm to 1:50am (4x10s, 3 day weekend!) Your Responsibilities: * Pack envelopes into boxes and/or cartons according to safety, quality and production guidelines. * Perform routine quality checks of products and materials. * Work with the machine Adjuster to troubleshoot/maintain the machine. * Maintain accurate production records. * Maintain a neat and orderly work area. * Enter/remove materials/stock items from the Hagen system. * Operate or assist on other equipment when workload dictates * Follow all safety rules and procedures. * Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, including overtime when workload dictates. . You Must Have: * Some math skills required; ability to work with a ruler and numbers. * Ability to read a job ticket and understand instructions. * Ability to pay attention to detail and visually check quality of product. * Strong communication skills and a team player. * Must be dependable and punctual. * Ability to stand for long periods - entire shift. * Ability to read a ruler and do basic math. * Ability to frequently push, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds We Would Also Prefer: * Familiar with Monarch/Hagen or similar production software systems. * Previous experience on other envelope manufacturing equipment * HS Diploma or GED.
