The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance upkeep across various EMR locations. Duties include performing minor repairs, painting, small construction projects, and minor electrical work. This career requires prior building maintenance experience, the ability to use maintenance and landscaping tools, and the ability work independently as well as in a team environment.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintenance across various sites.

• Performs maintenance duties such as minor repairs, painting, and roof patching and minor electrical work.

• Works on small construction projects as needed such as remodeling, and minor drywall maintenance.

• Responsible for landscaping and cleaning as needed.

• Other job duties as assigned.

III. Required Skills / Abilities

• Excellent communication both written and verbal.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Ability to use maintenance and landscaping tools.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

IV. Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED-equivalent preferred.

• Previous building maintenance experience required.

V. Other Job Demands

Work is generally performed outdoors in all-weather elements such as hot, cold, rain, or snow and personal protective equipment is required. Working hours may vary and evening or weekend work may be required. You may be required to lift and carry light weight
