Position Overview

This position entails the performance and documentation of maintenance on production and miscellaneous equipment, including both preventive and corrective actions. Mechanical, electrical, and power tools are employed for the performance of these tasks.


  • Inspect and perform periodic maintenance on a broad variety of production equipment, including CNC and manual machining centers, vibratory and centrifugal mass finishing machines, medical product inspection systems and instruments, vacuum furnace systems, and ultrasonic cleaners, microscopes, and rotary hand pieces.

  • Diagnose problems and perform corrective maintenance on such equipment as required.

  • Utilize maintenance software and paper records to track and document maintenance activities.

  • Monitor and maintain purified water system.

  • Maintain and organize a stock of spare parts and supplies required for maintenance.

  • Make routine electrical or plumbing hookups and installations.

  • Install, fabricate, or modify equipment when necessary.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

One of the processes maintained by this position may interfere with a pacemaker or defibrillator.


  • At least 3 years experience in equipment maintenance or mechanical repairs required, preferably with experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry methods

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to document maintenance activities in conformance with good manufacturing procedures

  • Ability to read, write and speak English with good command of the language, follow verbal and written instructions and use simple math

  • Basic computer skills including at minimum, adept in use of MS Office, internet, and electronic mail

  • Good communication skills preferred

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record

  • Ability to maintain automotive insurance during the term of employment

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

POSITION SUMMARY: The Property Maintenance Technician works in various settings and is knowledgeable in a variety of techniques for fixing many parts of buildings or residences, inside and out. The person is this position is a key member of the property maintenance team who works collaboratively with the Team Lead to provide quality maintenance to our clients. This can include maintaining air conditioning and heating units, electrical appliances and outlets, plumbing, carpentry, and locks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks efficiently, including: door, furniture, fixtures, sheetrock, and appliance repair; electrical repair; plumbing maintenance and repair; HVAC maintenance and repair; carpentry; and painting. * Investigate possible maintenance problems and propose solutions. * Be knowledgeable about and comply with all safety rules, standards, and regulations. * Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis. * Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance jobs. * Perform minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs and replacement/installation Adhere to assigned work schedule.. Maintain and organize building walls, floors and ceilings. * Display positive attitude and pride in work, and represent the organization in a positive manner. Demonstrate ethics and adhere to Corporate Compliance Program. * Utilize computers, calculators, and telephone to perform duties. * Work independently and work under minimum supervision. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support service recipients, supervisors and Team Leads at assigned contract sites as assigned. * SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: * This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
