Job Summary:
This on-site/in-building position is responsible for assisting with general maintenance projects in our 200,000 sq ft facility located in Augusta, Maine and will directly report to our Facilities Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform maintenance, service and repair to our refrigeration system, HVAC, Dock Doors, Loading Plates and Material Handling Equipment
Assists with general construction, plumbing, electrical and painting projects
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
Must be proficient with Computers, ability to read blueprints and have basic math skills
Able to respond to off hours emergencies when necessary
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
6-12 months maintenance experience
Mechanically inclined to fix dock plates, garage doors, pallet jacks and operate industrial tools
Ability to do general carpentry repairs and painting of walls, ceilings, flooring, etc.
Computer skills to work with PO's, work orders, read blueprints and process flows
Preferred Qualifications
1 year+ maintenance experience
Electrical experience
Safety background/OSHA specific training
HVAC experience
Welding experience
Experience running a team or project to a successful completion
