Maintenance Technician Competitive Wage 2Nd Shift

Snap-Tite Hose, a leading manufacturer of fire, agricultural, and industrial hoses, is seeking a skilled and self-directed Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment used in hose manufacturing. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering high-quality products to customers worldwide.

The starting wage for this position is $21-$26 per hours based on experience and a $2.00/hr shift differential for 2nd shift.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment used in hose manufacturing. Working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, you will contribute to delivering high-quality products to our valued customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Performing regular preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshooting and promptly repairing any machinery issues to minimize production downtime.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work performed and equipment status.
• Installing new equipment and upgrading existing machinery as necessary.
• Strictly adhering to all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Undertaking welding tasks and fabricating frames and equipment.
• Providing minor HVAC, pneumatic, and hydraulic service and repairs.
• Collaborating closely with production teams to optimize equipment performance and ensure efficient production processes.
• Carrying out any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

This role requires on-the-job training and the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Hold a technical certificate to qualify for this position.
• If lacking a technical training certificate, equivalent experience or other technical training may be considered.
