Carlisle Construction Materials, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician at its CCM Polyiso plant in Franklin Park, IL. This position will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Pervious mechanical and electrical experience
Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment, installing equipment and maintaining installations.
Experience in electrical troubleshooting.
Machining and/or welding experience
PLC knowledge and ability to trouble shoot logic.
Allen Bradley Frequency Drives
HMI Program Logic
Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, HVAC, chillers, water treatment, air compressors, and boilers.
Good safety record and safety awareness
Good communication skills, oral and written (must be fluent reading and writing in English), must have good mathematical skills
Capacity to work in a team environment or individually
Advanced diagnostic and problem solving/analytical skills
Computer literate (ability to work with, and report to Software programs / SAP)
Physically capable of performing all general maintenance repair responsibilities without problems (climbing ladders, lifting up to 65lbs, work in and around tight areas, work on and with booms and scissor lifts)
Knows how to operate and safely use hand and power tools.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing a plus
Willing to adapt such as starting early or staying late.Helping with other shift coverage

High school diploma/GED is required. Candidates must have least 3 years of experience in a maintenance technician position, as well as knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing of production equipment including: 480v 3phase electric to 24vdc and communication wiring, working knowledge of PLC's, ladder logic and relay logic, VFD motors/controls, pumps, pneumatic, hydraulics, motion controls, Seavo Drives, Allen Bradley Frequency Drives, HMI program logic, boilers and pipe fitting. General mechanical skills and schematic/blueprint reading necessary. Welding experience a plus.
Ability to work 8 or 12-hour shifts, up to 5 to 6 days per week during busy season.
