Bryllan LLC is hiring a strong Maintenance Technician for the Brighton Township site to work closely with the Maintenance Manager and supporting staff.
The duties of the Maintenance Technician are to support the day to day maintenance activities of the facility and utility operations.
The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager who is tasked with directing facility maintenance and calibration activities needed to support manufacturing operations at the Bryllan Brighton, MI site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Perform routine electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting work required to maintain facility operations.
2.Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance and repairs
3.Monitor onsite Building Automation System operation and adjust as needed.
4.Move, relocate and adjust office furniture, internet cabling, telephones and files, as needed.
5.Assist in execution of commissioning and qualification testing protocols for facility and utility systems
6.Assist in development of written procedures for the operation and maintenance of facility and utility systems
7.Other facility maintenance duties as required
Adhere to all Bryllan policies including but not limited to Quality, Human Resources, Health and Safety, that will ensure a robust manufacturing environment
Work Experience and Educational Requirements
This is a key role within the Bryllan organization, therefore the expectations and credentials of the candidate are demanding. The educational requirements represent the minimum for this position:
1.Should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a related maintenance field
2.Minimum completion of twelfth grade (or equivalent) with additional training/certifications in building trades or related fields
3.Shall be able to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control plans and drawings
4.Shall be required to safely operate a variety of hand and power tools routinely
5.Sufficient physical ability to perform moderate lifting and carrying; climbing ladders, and kneeling
6.Shall work independently in the absence of supervision
7.A strong understanding of 21 CFR Part 210 & 211 regulations are preferred
8.Journeymen Electrician qualifications preferred, not required
9.Boiler Operator's License preferred, not required
10. Knowledge of operation of programmable logic controllers preferred, not required
