POSITION: Maintenance Tech

LOCATION: Clinton, Tennessee

SHIFT: 7:00pm-3:00am or 8:00pm-4:00am

WAGE RANGE: $25.00-$30.00/hour, plus $2.00 Shift Premium

SIGN-ON BONUS: $300 after 30 days, $500 after 60 days, $700 after 90 days totaling $1,500.00.

REFERRAL BONUS: $1,500.00

4 to 8 weeks training on 1st Shift, then assigned to 3rd Shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain resin systems, vacuum loaders, and clean filters, making necessary repairs.

• Ensure the upkeep of support equipment such as tape feeders, spiral units, extruders, vacuum tanks, pullers, reelers, air systems, and water systems.

• Provide assistance to all departments during breakdowns.

• Perform tooling changes for the extrusion department as required by order changes.

• Utilize a voltmeter to check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors, and troubleshoot faulty electric circuits.

• Assist the general maintenance crew in equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety requirements for the position.

• Perform any other duties as directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 Years industrial experience with a proven track record of punctuality and reliability.

• 1+ plus years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

• Minimum of two years of experience in mechanical maintenance.

• Knowledge of 120/240 single phase and 480v three phase electrical.

• Ability to follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.

• Possess computer skills e.g.: Email, Excel, Word, and basic handling paper works.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-speed environment.

• Desire for personal advancement and the willingness to achieve by learning manufacturing systems.

• Upbeat team player mindset and performance mentality to keep production running.

• Ability to learn new systems and equipment.

• Effective communication skills with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

• Able to do weekend coverage and weekend on call.

• Able to work overtime as required.

• Willing to complete training/course work for Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics.

• Self-motivated, able to work under minimal supervision.

• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of power transmission equipment, including bearings, gears, sprockets, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and pumps.

• Proficiency in using various hand and power tools required for the position, including wrenches, torches, volt meters, drill press, and band saw.

• Familiarity with plumbing.

• Good knowledge of state and local safety codes.

Pluses:

• Maintenance experience with plastic extrusion machinery, changing dies, extruder screws, or tooling.

• Certificate or degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechatronics is preferred.

• Fabrication and welding skill

• Experience with PLC programming, control devices, electrical and variable speed drives.

• Computerized maintenance system experience (SAP, Emaint, etc)
