Maintenance Technician (3 rd Shift) - Akron, Ohio

• JOB 24-00582 Salary Range: $52K - $62.5K Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Area Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician.
  
  The Maintenance Technician's key responsibility will be to maintain & repair the facility & production equipment. Troubleshooting and repair of machine controllers. Troubleshooting molding machine auxiliary equipment issues.
  
  Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred OR 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance Experience with blow molding equipment desired but not required Must be proficient with pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical drawings Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and machine manuals Must have good math skills Process knowledge of PLC's Must have experience/knowledge with methods, practices, tools and materials used in the general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and machinery. Must have working knowledge of plastic molding machine operations. Able to operate common types of machine shop equipment Must have good mechanical aptitude Must have good communication skills (written & verbal) Must be able to lift up to 60lbs Must be able to climb ladders, equipment and steep stairs Must be able at times to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures 2nd Shift hours

• 3pm-11pm

• Monday thru Friday – occasional overtime offered on weekends – occasional overtime available covering part of other shifts to cover vacations. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
