In Short:

You will be responsible for preventative and correctional maintenance of various pieces of industrial machinery. Don't worry, we supply the tools and the training!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify that tools and equipment are in proper working condition

• Update & maintain all maintenance records

• Repair all equipment including splitters, saws, loaders, wrappers, quarry trucks, trailers and forklifts

• Perform welding, cutting, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fabrication

• Provide feedback to supervisors and operators on improvement of PM tasks and maintenance operations

• Order parts, tools and materials needed to repair and maintain equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems

Qualification Requirements

• Formal education/training required

• 3-5 years mechanical experience (quarry equipment knowledge is strongly preferred)

• Ability to read electrical & hydraulic blue prints

• Self-motivated

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently; 100 lbs. occasionally

• Detail oriented

• Ability to adapt to varying work environment

• Able to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to use mechanical tools

• Valid Driver License

• Ability to read and use a tape measure
