Maintenance Technician (1St Shift)

Our client is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift and 2nd Shift Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of their automotive manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities as directed by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Conduct basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Operate machining equipment such as lathes, mills, drill presses, and bandsaws.

Perform fabrication projects using welding and bolted assembly techniques. Accurately record work activities into the CMMS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and the maintenance shop, adhering to 5S standards.

Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with maintenance staff and personnel from other departments.

High attention to detail and accuracy in completing scheduled tasks. Good mechanical aptitude, capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Understanding of the maintenance organization's role and function within a manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or a minimum of two (2) years of equivalent experience in a relevant field.
