Position scope/summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for Chip spinning and the upkeep of all equipment,

assist with the installation, movement and disassembly of machinery and equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Chip spinning

• Shipping & receiving

• Finishing as needed to make customer product visually and dimensionally acceptable using operation sheets, customer blueprints and specifications

• Ability to spend time using your hands to handle, control, reach, or feel objects, tools or controls

• Will spend extended periods of time standing and walking throughout the shop

• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, bend and twist

• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to maintenance equipment and systems

• Able to use some of the tools necessary to conduct the work involved with maintaining Viant Medical's equipment and building systems

• Able to use the computer, specifically spreadsheets, word processing and data base programs as well as experience with PM systems

• Able to follow instructions, both written and verbal

• Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, as well as outside contractors

• Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities with many time constraints
