Position scope/summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for Chip spinning and the upkeep of all equipment,
assist with the installation, movement and disassembly of machinery and equipment.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Chip spinning
Shipping & receiving
Finishing as needed to make customer product visually and dimensionally acceptable using operation sheets, customer blueprints and specifications
Environmental working conditions

Ability to spend time using your hands to handle, control, reach, or feel objects, tools or controls
Will spend extended periods of time standing and walking throughout the shop
Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, bend and twist
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to maintenance equipment and systems
Able to use some of the tools necessary to conduct the work involved with maintaining Viant Medical's equipment and building systems
Able to use the computer, specifically spreadsheets, word processing and data base programs as well as experience with PM systems
Able to follow instructions, both written and verbal
Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, as well as outside contractors
Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities with many time constraints
