Serve as an entry level technician to accomplish the maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment related to the movement and storage of products within the terminal, pipeline and right-of-way. Essential duties and responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently assist with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment to include valves, gauges, meters, tanks, pumps, etc. Daily use of computers for communications, training and inventory purposes. Compliance with all Company Safety Rules and Regulations while performing all duties, and attendance to all assigned training courses for operations and safety.

Coordinate with the Operations Department as required to minimize operational impacts. Perform periodic inspections of tanks and equipment as directed by supervision. Perform any duty as assigned by supervision. Ability to accept supervision/direction and work cooperatively with other people.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Degree or equivalent 2 year degree in one the following core disciplines Mechanical, Electrical or Corrosion Experience / specific knowledge:

A minimum of one year of work experience or apprenticeship performing maintenance activities in at least one of the core disciplines. Through successful work history, demonstrate the ability to perform basic maintenance activities in at least one of the core competencies. Certifications, licenses, registrations:

Competencies, skills, and abilities: Good oral and written communications. Basic computer skills (send and receive email, perform inventory accounting, and enter repair work orders) Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent may be required to stand; walk, sit, ascend/descend stairs; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working conditions: Work traditional shift schedule at a terminal that operates 24/7, and be available for call-out and overtime. Tasks are performed indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

POSITION SUMMARY: To assist Fleet Technicians in providing safe, reliable and cost efficient vehicles by learning to perform quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs as well as learning to perform diagnosis and repair as required to prevent breakdowns on road, reduce vehicle down time and improve total fleet reliability. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment (Tractors, Trailers, Convertor Dollies, Lift Gates, Light Duty Vehicles) to maximize the safety, reliability, and cost efficiency throughout the life cycle of the fleet to include, but not limited to FAI/CVI (Annual) Inspections, Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light duty vehicles and any other company owned equipment, perform quality maintenance repairs as required to maximize safety and reliability on all fleet vehicles including tractors, trailers, converter dollies, lift-gates, light duty vehicles and any company owned equipment. Perform maintenance repairs on all vehicles such as inspections, scheduled repairs, malfunctions and road-call repairs in a safe, efficient, and quality manner, addressing all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely, efficiently and correctly the first time, diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications including but not limited to engines, transmissions and clutches, drive-line, differential, steering and suspension, fuel and ignition system, exhaust systems (including regeneration systems), intake systems, electrical systems, brake systems, HVAC systems and lift-gate hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
