River Vista Behavioral Health sits along the bluffs overlooking the San Joaquin River, this brand new, 128-bed facility, will provide high-quality and advanced behavioral health services to residents and visitors in the Central Valley. The new hospital will employ more than 250 people, including clinicians, nurses, mental health technicians, support staff and administration.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and hardworking MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to be part of our Plant Operations Team. The Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
Experience: Must have at least one (1) year experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. In addition, must have at least one (1) year experience in the area of building maintenance, basic mechanical engineering, painting/wall repair, electrical, carpentry and plumbing.
Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license.
Additional Requirements: Must have complete knowledge of physical plant within two weeks of hire.

Additional Requirements:
A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
