POSITION: Maintenance Technician

LOCATION: Williston, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full time, 12-month, nonexempt, benefitted position.

BACKGROUND CHECK: WSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.

JOB SUMMARY: Maintains facilities, facilities systems, and equipment in order to provide a safe, efficient and comfortable workplace and is an essential employee of WSC.

Responsibilities include operation, repair, and preventative maintenance of all building facilities and equipment; snow removal and after hours emergency needs; perform work in carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, machine and equipment repair and operation; understand and maintain the boilers, HVAC and pneumatic temperature control systems; painting and staining; remove, replace and repair walls, door panels, carpet, tile; build and install cabinets and shelving; hang sheetrock, acoustical ceiling systems, repair and adjust doors, including automatic doors; repair and replace locks; maintain machinery and equipment. Ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner; make routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment; Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs machines and equipment, and reports problems to supervisor as appropriate. Complies with all applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and established work practices.

Minimum qualifications include three years of experience in maintenance environment, good computer and organization skills, strong customer service skills, must be self-motivated and a valid Driver's License.

SALARY: $46,526-$57,200 based on experience plus excellent benefit package.
