What You'll Do:

• Perform maintenance tasks to uphold safe and reliable facility operations.

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and document repair outcomes thoroughly.

• Manage tools and ensure accurate inventory maintenance.

• Support training initiatives for maintenance staff.

• Assist Maintenance Manager with coordination duties.

• Install and repair equipment, including resolving conveyor system issues.

• Maintain equipment, facility, and grounds appearance.

• Coordinate waste removal services promptly.

• Update maintenance records using computerized systems.

• Conduct minor welding tasks and adhere to safety protocols.

• Troubleshoot complex electrical controls.

• Assign work orders via computerized systems.

• Install electrical components.

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance.

• Must have completed classroom training or its equivalent on electrical controls.

• Needs experience repairing and maintaining conveyor equipment.

• Needs to have welding and fabrication experience in Oxy/Ace and electrode or wire type welding equipment and knowledgeable of all welding safety requirements.

• Must have training or equivalent for basic AC & DC electricity.

• Experience repairing and maintaining basic mechanical devices required.

• Working knowledge and experience with various electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480V 3phase.

• Basic PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) experience.

• Physically able to stand, climb ladders, crouch, crawl and lift 50lbs unassisted for extended time periods.

• Able to keep non-standard hours, work overtime, and be available on call occasionally.

Pay: $24/hr.

Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required

Working Conditions:

• Distribution center environment; may include exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions.
