JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Tech position is designed for someone with a broad range of skills that they refine over time to install, troubleshoot, repair or decommission a large range of CNC, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
CNC machine troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, & hydraulic), not programming or computers other than testing standard connectors, etc.
Electrical wiring
Drive troubleshooting
Servo troubleshooting
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
Basic HVAC troubleshoot/repair
Understanding of basic Machine Shop equipment operation
Piping
Rigging
Machinery installation and/or modification
Design & creation of various fixtures and/or jigs used in production or quality department
Grind room equipment maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance on machines and ovens rharper
Continuous Improvement projects
Other tasks as requested
SKILLS and ABILITIES
Ability to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
Capability of working from verbal instructions.
Engage in a team environment to resolve issues.
Show initiative and have the ability to work independently on primary responsibilities.
Knowledge of or ability to learn the use of calipers, micrometers and load test equipment.
Thorough knowledge of Lock Out Tagout requirements and process
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk 6+ hours per day
Use of one or both hands and/or fingers to grasp, move, or assemble objects
