Maintenance is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available require troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of equipment, using a variety of hand tools to set up, break down, adjust production line machinery, and performing other duties pertaining to hydraulics and pneumatics, all while making safety the number one priority. Other duties include being able to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information.

While performing the duties of Maintenance, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.

Principal Accountabilities:

Perform repetitive tasks. Examples include:

  • Using hand tools to perform maintenance on production machinery

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery

  • Ensuring food safety and quality

  • Cleanliness and housekeeping

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

  • Ability to work with a variety of hand tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maintenance experience and electrical maintenance

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Work history in the past 12 months

Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Technician (FSQR), is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. The primary accountability for this position will be to monitor facility operations, conduct required audits and tests for food safety and quality, train employees to follow company procedures and USDA regulations, monitor SOPs, SSOPs and HACCP programs, assist with review of current procedures, specifications, and SOPs. Monitor shelf life and rework to reduce cost, document information and perform special projects as requested by supervisor. While performing the duties of Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory Technician (FSQR), the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility. Principle Accountabilities: * 40% Ensure employee safety and food safety guidelines are followed at all times * 40% Ensure compliance with regulations and specifications of process * 10% Enforce and audit Good Hygiene Practices * 5% Evaluation and verification of production practices that ensure quality products * 5% Other duties as assigned Prolonged periods of walking and standing required. This is a day shift position. Work hours approximately 6 am - 3 pm Monday through Friday throughout most of the year. Saturdays and Sundays as required. Ability to work irregular hours and overtime as needed. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Ability to interpret written policy and make informed decisions. Required Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalency * Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, etc.) * Able to work in hot and cold environments * Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
