Reser's Fine Foods - Job Description

The Maintenance System Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the administration and effective usage of the enterprise Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS). This position will provide support, guidance and action in maintaining asset data accuracy, inventory population and equipment hierarchy.

Essential Position Functions:

1.Provide regularly scheduled auditing of CMMS system operations for reporting negative trends and to supply tools and resources that promote continuous improvement.

2.Address problems that appear to arise from use of the data networks by scheduling and providing appropriate level of support required to resolve the problem.

3.Retrieve/analyze data and develop reports from the Computerized Maintenance Management Software.

4.Improve end-user competencies (including "how-to" guidance, SOPs, training, job aids, etc).

5.Develop and maintain accuracy of equipment metadata by regularly collecting and inputting information, such as manufacturer, model, serial number, and system structure information.

6.Support maintenance in the review of WO Data accuracy such as Equipment on WOs, Booked Hours (Employee and Vendors), parts usage, WO type, closing codes and WO Comments.

7.Prepare, review, and publish reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI), identifying areas of strength and areas requiring improvements necessary to meet strategic plans. Prepares recommendations for improvement to leadership based upon KPI performance.

8.Supplements the CMMS database by uploading PM documentation, completed RCAs, and service reports.

9.Administer Enterprise Maintenance training program(s) while working closely with Corporate L&D.



  1. Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to working with people, items, and equipment that are at the facility.

Education and Experience:

1.High school diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years maintenance and/or administration experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1.Knowledge of maintenance processes and procedures, work order systems, and inventory management.

2.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management administration.

3.Detail oriented, organized and possess ability to prioritize activities.

4.Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others.

5.Ability to motivate others effectively and be a trainer of new content and processes.

6.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

1.This position may work in a variety of conditions; specifically office, production and warehouse environments.

2.The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 0°F to 110°F.

3.Must be able to work in noisy environments.

4.Business demands may require evening weekend scheduling.

5.May be required to travel up to 20%.
