Maintenance Support - Summer Seasonal - Central College

Job Description:

Assist with performing maintenance on heating and cooling units and assisting technicians with various other jobs. Hours are 7:00-3:30 Monday - Friday for the summer.

Duties Include:

• Changing filters on dorm room fan coil units

• Dryer cleaning and dryer vent cleaning

• Assist with maintenance of equipment including greasing bearings, changing filters, and changing belts

• Assist with cleaning the LRC and VSC fountains

• Assist technical staff with projects as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic

• Works well with others, but also be able to work independently

• Willingness to learn different jobs

• Possess good decision-making skills

• Takes responsibility for working safely

• Good time management skills.

• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and license to drive Central College vehicles

• Must be 16 years of age
