Purpose
The Maintenance Supervisor prioritizes and performs maintenance services inclusive of the full range of custodial duties related to the exterior care, maintenance, and aesthetic upkeep of the resort.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Maintains the upkeep of the property
Maintains property based on standard operating procedures
Determines material, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasks
Orders all supplies promptly to complete projects
Is responsible for some construction, painting, electrical and plumbing
Performs general repairs as needed, such as painting, constructing and patching walls, security hardware, and landscaping
Performs a variety of skilled work in maintenance, repairs including carpentry, plumbing, filter maintenance, and light fixture maintenance
Coordinates or inspects, operates and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems
Establishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignments
Performs and coordinates tasks, such as scheduling of maintenance functions to be performed by maintenance personnel
Provides training, technical assistance, and supervision for other employees
Assists in the counsel and discipline employees
Is responsible for complying with all safety regulations(OSHA)and company safety rules
Performs all other duties as assigned
General Statement - Performs the job assigned, complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
Job Requirements
Education, Essential Training / Certifications, and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Minimum of two years of experience as a maintenance supervisor or experience/education equivalence
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (APO) certification
Hazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire date
One (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial or public swimming pools and associated equipment and facilities
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Advanced resort related maintenance systems knowledge.
Ability to perform maintenance duties, such as plumbing, electrical, construction, and painting
Proficient knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
Ability to multi-task and handle all maintenance issues
Knowledge of basic maintenance and power tools and the ability to use them, such as ladder, hammer, power drill, etc.
Demonstrate leadership skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
Consistently neat in appearance with proper uniform as required by the company
Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and to cover On-Call shifts
Shift: Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines
