As our Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee maintenance operations, guide a team of technicians and janitors, and drive preventive maintenance programs.

How You'll Do It:

  • Supervise a team of 8+ maintenance technicians and janitors, guiding their workflows, providing performance coaching, and fostering a culture of success.

  • Essential experience includes proficiency in working with and repairing textile machinery.

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing multiple preventive maintenance programs resulting in efficient plant turnaround times

  • Cultivate a safety-first environment by enforcing safety policies and training to align with company safety standards and OSHA regulations, aiming to eradicate work-related injuries.

  • Collaborate with Operations Manager and Kaizen Promotion Officer (KPO) to report and investigate work-related accidents or sabotage concerning machinery, equipment, and tools.

  • Manage and supervise the daily maintenance operations for the designated plant, overseeing equipment, tools, facilities (fire protection system/security), and grounds, while effectively managing maintenance and labor costs.

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a comprehensive preventive/predictive maintenance program for all mechanical equipment and tools.

  • Lead the installation, maintenance, repair, adjustment, troubleshooting, and inspection of equipment and tools.

  • Assess the need for tools, equipment, and supplies required for job duties; inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

  • Establish or refine work procedures to meet production schedules efficiently.

  • Deliver initial and ongoing maintenance training and evaluations to production associates and relevant plant personnel as necessary.

  • Identify and implement operational enhancements through system and procedural improvements.

  • Offer recommendations and execute new programs as warranted.

  • Monitor and manage Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), work order completion percentage, Preventive Maintenance (PM) completion rate, machine downtime, etc.

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

  • Experience: 5-7 years in manufacturing and maintenance management, with expertise in highly technical mechanics; 5+ years in Safety and Risk programs; Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing experience, green belt preferred; Electrical Certification is advantageous

  • Functional Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite; adept problem identification and resolution; ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work independently; familiarity with health and safety regulations; mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills

Job Factors/Work Environments

Required :

  • Location: Onsite at our plant in West Palm Beach, FL

  • Typical Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm EST

  • Occasional Schedule: Saturdays and extended hours on weekdays may be required

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing 50+ lbs

  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary for this role

  • Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required

Preferred Requirements:

Comfort communicating and working with multiple cultures and backgrounds is required.

A certification in electrical repair or lean manufacturing is preferred but not required

Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
