Currently, LRC is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at Coral Hills in Houston, TX.


The successful candidate must have experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical.


Must possess the ability and tools to repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise. Knowledge to perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.

Complete work orders and forms to assure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.


Ideal candidate must ave HVAC certification with (3) plus years of Maintenance Technician experience. Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.

This candidate must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Normal work hours are usually between 8am 5pm, Mon-Fri (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required. Background Screening and Drug Test Required

VIEW JOBS 8/22/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-20T00:00 Overview The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning and ensuring the execution of facility and equipment maintenance to ensure economic and safe operation. Responsibilities will also include parts ordering, inventory control and a general understanding of mechanical and electrical operation/maintenance. Supervises union and non-union personnel. Responsibilities * Plan, schedule and supervise preventive/ corrective maintenance tasks, daily work orders and small projects. * Monitor progress of assigned work, communicate and resolve problems, document scope of changes resulting from work done and provide periodic reports as requested. * Assure the mechanics' work tasks are complete in a timely and efficient manner through acceptable quality work standards. * Participate in team meetings and decisions within the work unit. * Ensure progress, development, and continuation of a complete physical plant maintenance program. * Utilize a software program designed to be a complete management information and reporting system for maintenance engineering. * Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems as needed. * Maintain equipment histories. * Comply with Safe Quality Food 2000 Code (SQF 2000 Code). * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience * BS in Mechanical, Electrical degrees, or verifiable experience. * 5+ years' experience in the field of maintenance/electrical of projects/ equipment. * 3+ years supervision preferred * Previous management experience in a manufacturing environment. * Experience with implementing & managing a CMMS system * Lean Manufacturing certification or training desired * Proven ability to manage multiple projects Personal and Professional Skill Sets * Mechanical/Electrical systems operation and maintenance. * Equipment record keeping. * Mechanical parts/systems procurement. * Mechanical/Electrical systems maintenance and management of equipment records, engineering reports, inventory and stock control, and safety. * Blueprint reading of building and mechanical systems. * Able to utilize maintenance, accounting, and word processing software. * Problem solving ability to develop alternatives for improvements in the efficiency of the maintenance department. * Knowledge of purchasing and requisition procedures and ability to maintain parts stock inventories at a level consistent with demand. * Able to locate inefficient and excessive maintenance expenditures and advise Management. * Able to prepare decision alternatives. * Select equipment for maintenance program. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Able to communicate through reports and recommendations to engineers, supervisors, maintenance crews, and parts clerks.
