Hanover Company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for Hanover Brazos Street, a new construction, luxury high-rise apartment community in downtown Austin, Texas. The development consists of 308 units, all featuring top-of-the-market finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows and custom oversized closets. The shared amenities include a dog spa, 44th floor pool deck with custom swing daybeds, top-floor fitness center, outdoor fireplace, screening lounge, and flexible co-working spaces.

The objective of the Maintenance Supervisor is to perform quality maintenance in a timely manner, perform periodic and purposeful preventative maintenance programs, satisfy all reasonable maintenance requests and train the maintenance staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ordering and stock maintenance supplies.

• Inform Property Manager of any and all maintenance problems on property.

• Process bids for property repairs and property improvements.

• Execute the preventative maintenance plan.

• Maintain all property amenities.

• Substitute for all maintenance personnel when necessary.

• Be available to be on call weekends for emergencies.

• Have adequate knowledge of the buildings, grounds, and pools.

• Follow all safety programs implemented by Hanover and according to policy.

• Walk the property and report any liability problems immediately.

• Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure that property operates in an efficient and economic manner.

• Represent property and Hanover professionally through dress and behavior.

• Keep records of all maintenance requests and repairs made.

• Maintain all appropriate maintenance logs required by Hanover.

• Maintain an expertise in all phases of plumbing, general carpentry, electrical maintenance, pool equipment, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Lifting belt required.

• Must own personal set of tools.

• Knowledge of general maintenance as well as comfort repairing HVAC, plumbing, appliances, electrical, and pool equipment required.

Education:

• Technical training or previous experience required.
• EPA Certification required.
• CPO Certification preferred.
