Overview:
Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a detail-oriented and self-disciplined Maintenance Director/Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of the community's physical plant. This role requires expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems to address maintenance issues and ensure compliance with life-safety code regulations. The Maintenance Director will also collaborate with other department heads to provide exceptional customer service to residents. This role serves as a Culture Ambassador, modeling and exemplifying the core values of the company.
Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and control overall maintenance of the community's physical plant.
Address maintenance issues related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal life-safety code regulations.
Collaborate with other department heads to deliver exceptional customer service to residents.
Model and exemplify the company's core values, leading by personal example.
Select, hire, and manage personnel to meet the needs of the community.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience, demonstrating the ability to manage personnel effectively.
Proficiency in various trades skills including HVAC plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and general maintenance.
Previous maintenance experience in a large residential community, hotel, hospitality, or similar industry.
Experience working in a Senior Living environment is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Acceptable driving record.

Position: Full-time Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends, being on-call
