Supervise all daily maintenance functions in support of the plant

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Organize the work of the hourly maintenance team

• Supervise a team of technicians: integrate, train, appraise, redefine responsibilities, provide feedback, ensure development and gauge training needs, delegate, instill a sense of responsibility, set targets, communicate instructions, control, listen

• Conduct interviews as necessary

• Provide reports to management

• Record maintenance data

• Monitors Work orders, PM's, and expenses for the maintenance budget

• Propose technical and organizational improvements to management

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Associate's Degree, Certificate or Apprenticeship, and/or equivalent experience

Experience

• Electrical and mechanical repair on production and utility equipment

• 2 Years experience in dairy production and/or food industry or similar manufacturing environment

• 2 Years experience in a management/supervisory role

• Stable and dependable work history is required

Specialized Knowledge

• Sound maintenance practice, quality, food safety, and health and safety

• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology

• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance

• Knowledge of electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming

Skills/Abilities

• Individual must be capable of working independently in adherence to regulations

• Must manage stress and remain calm under pressure

• Individual must be able to demonstrate an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills

• Must be able to perform a multitude of tasks, strong communication abilities both written and verbal, and data entry accuracy

Salary Description

$75,000 to $95,000
