Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Maintenance Specialist Please review the responsibilities and needed qualifications below and apply today Responsibilities Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor repairs, and assistance with the receiving of materials and products within the warehouse/yard/office and making up job lot orders, as well as receiving and inventorying samples.

Includes cleaning warehouse to meet company policy and standards, removing all refuse from warehouse, equipment, and yard, as well as operating forklifts and combi's, and picking up banding, stickers, trash, dunnage, and empty pallets from warehouse/yard. May include operating banding machine and radial arm saw or any equipment required to do the job, repairing damaged pallets, preparing flatcars for removal from the yard, and moving product to assigned area. Also reports the need for repairs and/or safety problems/ideas to the operations manager and MUST be willing to adhere to, and promote, all policies and safety standards.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions.

Requires the ability to follow instructions, drive forklift, and may occasionally operate a banding machine and radial arm saw. Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function.
