With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. This position requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repair. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.

  • Areas of equipment maintenance may include: Vehicle PM inspections and adjustments; Oil changes and fluids replenishment; Adjustments and light repairs including tire changes; and Basic electrical work, such as light changes; Conducts visual inspections to identify potential equipment issues and identify the sources of malfunctions using a variety of tools.

  • Completes applicable Company training programs.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.

  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.

  • Valid Driver's License is preferred.

The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams. All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation. The site will run on state of the art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes. This position will be responsible for the Maintenance functions for the Manufacturing site. Shift: 12 Hour Night 2/2/3 schedule (off every other weekend) SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician II at Keurig Dr Pepper will be responsible for facilitation and leadership to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve process and packaging equipment, to maximize production and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper's high standards in safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in improving maintenance procedures and manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. RESPONSIBILITIES * Basic Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on equipment. * Review documentation for maintenance activities using the maintenance database, adequately communicate maintenance issues to appropriate employees (e.g., other maintenance techs, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and properly utilize the maintenance inventory system. * Support process improvement initiatives in assigned areas by analyzing equipment maintenance history, identifying significant causes of waste, coordinating with appropriate employees to develop root cause analysis (RCA), and providing maintenance assistance as necessary. * Assist in day-to-day support of Production Technicians for adjustments, setups, and change overs * Assist engineers and vendors on special projects * Use machine tools, welding equipment, and measuring devices to maintain and or repair equipment * Will assist in the training and coaching others on best practices. * Performs other duties as assigned * Follow all Keurig Dr Pepper policies and procedures #IND1 #LI-MH1 Requirements * 3 years' experience maintaining, troubleshooting, & repairing mechanical & electrical/controls/PLC systems (Allen-Bradley systems experience preferred, including, but not limited to, the Rockwell FactoryTalk suite of software, Logix platform, & proficient understanding of Allen-Bradley) * Demonstrated mechanical/electrical skills (PLC troubleshooting and Robotics skills preferred). * Ability to read and understand complex instructions, prints, flowchart, block diagram, and schematics. * Ability to competently use and understand precision testing and diagnostic equipment. * Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office * Ability to get along with others, be punctual, and follow instructions. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
