The management of our Field Resources which is the single largest contributor to our cost and service budget lines directly impacts on FLSmidth's performance in the areas of Safety, customer satisfaction, project completion and professional image. Availability of repair resources, quality of work, on-time scheduling directly impacts the company's profitability, image and future growth. Because of these highly visible areas, this is a key position within the division. The incumbent interfaces directly with all levels at FLSmidth Inc. and major vendors, as well as with all levels of our customers' organizations. The essence of this position is to provide customer satisfaction and maximize company profits by providing on-demand service for all our product lines and processes.

Job Specifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in managing or working with blue collar or craft labor, technical support or performance of hands-on maintenance services to customers using industrial processing equipment in cement, minerals or adjacency industries

  • Established contacts and relationships with customers in the industries served

  • Able to communicate in written and verbal forums in a professional manner

  • Advance knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Adobe software systems

  • Previous experience working directly with customers in direct or technically supportive role

  • Enhanced understanding of customer and market dynamics including analysis of trends relative to promoting hands-on services and maintenance

  • Willingness to travel as required to active project sites

  • Certificates in lifting, rigging and MSHA is desirable

Participates in unit-based shared leadership activities that improve the quality of care provided to patients and enhance the work environment. Responsibilities Clinical Excellence/Patient Care - 50% annually * Assesses the needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care. * Develops an individual plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and health care team. * Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient's care. * Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care. * Utilizes holistic approach (considering biopsychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria) appropriate to the age of the patients and families served in the assigned service area. * Delegates and provides direction for other healthcare providers and hold them accountable for their involvement in the plan of care. * Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintains responsibility and accountability for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients. Development & Patient Education - 40% annually * Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research. * Assess and chooses teaching strategies appropriate to the patient's and their families' age specific needs, culture, gender, readiness to learn and level of comprehension. * Consults appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education. * Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately. Basic UPH Performance Criteria - 10% annually * Demonstrates the UnityPoint Health Values and Standards of Behaviors as well as adheres to policies and procedures and safety guidelines. * Demonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance. * Employee maintains current licenses and/or certifications required for the position. * Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, TJC, DNV, OSHA and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare. * Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year. * Is knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance. Qualifications Education: * Graduate from and approved nursing program Experience: * 3-5 Years Critical Care experience License(s)/Certification(s): * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa. * Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within 30 days from date of hire. Advanced Coronary Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain within six (6) months from hire. Unit specific additional functions will be addressed in the competency checklist specific to the assigned unit. Additional certifications and requirements are unit based. CPI after 90 days from date of hire and maintain. * Completion of Stroke Education and NIHSS education prior to end of orientation (8 hours) and annually (4 hours). * TNCC certification within 2 years. PALS within 1 year. * Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Machines: Pumps (IV, PCA, Epidural, Feeding), Chest tubes, Suction, IV's, Pulse Oximeter, Ventilators, CRRT * Administrative: Blood transfusion, ET, Infection Control, PT/OT, Inhaler, Order Entry, BLS, ACLS certification of hire.
